ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild activated center Darby Hendrickson on Thursday and placed defenseman Filip Kuba on injured reserve with a bruised left foot.

Hendrickson returned to the lineup against Vancouver after missing the first half of the season with a broken arm.

Hendrickson, in his 10th NHL year and third with the Wild, played in 68 games for the Wild last season. He finished with nine goals and 15 assists. He was placed on the injured list in September after breaking his left forearm in a preseason win over Calgary.

He missed the final six games of last season after taking a puck to his left eye.

Kuba, who has three goals and 14 points this season, was hurt when his foot was hit by a puck last week.
