Matt has had his account disabled by the hockeyarena team. After rampaging through the entire game, you will all know that he decided that he wanted a new challenge and dismantled his entire team with a view to building a new team (maybe an all British team). Family life got in the way of all of this and his team slowly dropped down the divisions as he did not have enough time to give to the game anymore.
I had discussed with him on a number of occassions when he was thinking of quitting, and tried to get him to change his mind. This culminated a couple of weeks ago when he came up with an idea to slowly leave the game, but one that went against the rules and ethos of the game.
He had built up over 4 billion (last time I was told) in funds, and wanted to try and distribute it throughout the GB managers. We spoke at length about this, and if it could be achieved, without really getting anywhere.
I put a young British player on the market a couple of weeks ago, and Matt decided to put his plan into action. I then ended up with an overpriced (significantly) transfer fee. As nothing appeared to get picked up by the game moderators, he then did the same thing with Rob (Bromley) and Tom (Alcester Reapers) by overbidding on young Brits.
This time it was picked up by the mods and quite a lengthy discussion occured that led to Matts account being disabled, and myself, Rob and Tom being fined for receiving over priced transfers.
Matt cannot log into the game, and I dont think that is the place for this discussion either, but I felt that I should post on here what had happened. What was good intentions for British teams went against the competitiveness of the game, and as such his team has been cancelled. From Matts point of view, he was leaving the game anyway. From the managers who received overpriced transfers, we have all been warned via a compensation fine.
I think we all know what a great job Matt had done within the game prior to this, with both the GB U20, National and Eastwood Evil and I doubt anyone will have the same sucess in the future. He always contributed to the discussion boards and would give his time to help newcomers to the game, and will no doubt be a sad loss for the GB community.
Hopefully he will see this thread and people can pass on their goodbyes to him here.[/LEFT]

Jap, ich werd es wohl auch nicht weiter machen, ich hab es bisher immer nur so ein bisschen machen können. Ich hab im Moment einfach nicht genügend Zeit...

Das mit dem FCA verstehe ich ja, aber der PPM wäre genau das richtige für dich "Verrückten"
Alleine wenn ich sehe wie die Burschen im Forum diskutieren wie man denn nun am besten skillt

Nee ehrlich ollie, entweder eins richtig oder alles bleiben lassen. Ich hab jetzt gestern wieder für ein jahr bei HA verlängert.
Dort ist man bereits etabliert und hat nen Ruf ( vor allem am Markt ist das oft von Vorteil ) , nochmals einen Neuaufbau tu ich mir nicht an.
Weil auch dabei gilt, entweder richtig mit voller Energie machen oder sein lassen. Sonst erbst du nix und wartest dann händeringend auf den nächsten manager, wo dann gleich als erstes mit einsteigen kannst....
Ich bleib bei HA. Und werd wohl wieder etwas ernsthafter an die sache rangehen.

Das ist dein gutes Recht und ich werde bestimmt nicht versuchen dich vom Gegenteil zu überzeugen.
Fact für mich ist man sollte solche Spiele spielen um Spaß zu haben, und HA macht mit all seinen "tollen" Nebenerscheinungen mir keinen Spaß mehr!
