Transcript of the Bob Wren Chat
Anonymous: HI Bob, Very Big Ducks Fan will see you on friday night as always

Bob Wren: I just play on the power play alot. They do try to hit me alot because I am small. That is why I have a couple of bigger guys on my line to protect me.
Bob Wren 9: Hey bob What's Up? Not Much Here. Do you have any pregame rituals that you do before every game?
Bob Wren: Yes, I am usually the first one there (4:30) One thing I do is put my left shin pad on and left elbow pad on first. There was nothing that provoked it. But I remembered one good game where I did it that way and continued on with that ritual. It is just a weird thing that I do.
Cincinatti Kid: What is Cincinatti like to live in?
Bob Wren: It's a big city. It tends to be conservative. I live in a big college crowd. It is a very hip place. The music stations on the radio is very repetitive to me. There is no variety at all. It is mainly college radio.
Amanda: Who did you look up to as a child?
Bob Wren: There is only one: Wayne Gretzky. His home town was only 30 minutes away from Cambridge, where I was born.
Graeme: Congratulations, Bob. It has been a couple years since you were drafted but could you still recall the draft-night? How did you find out you were drafted and what went through your mind? Did you have any rough idea that you would be drafted or did any team express an interest in you before the draft? Good luck all the way.
Bob Wren: That was the toughest night, the roughest nigth, the most exciting night of my life. I knew I was going to be drafted, but I did not know when. I remember the playoffs that summer when Gretzky beat the Leafs. For some reason, Los Angeles stuck in my mind. For some reason, I was drafted by Los Angeles and that was where I wanted to go.
Mandy: What do you do during the off-season?
Bob Wren: That is a good question. My most favourite thing to do is play golf. I like to play roller hockey with my friends and work out. I live in Kitchener (---> home town DUANNE MOESER, Anm. MythosAEV) during the summertime.
Nick: What is the difference between skate manufacturer's. What is your favorite brand and why?
Bob Wren: There is no difference, only your preference. My preference is the Bauer product.
Steve: Congrats on the 8 points scored last week and being named player of the week! I was wondering what your favorite AHL cities to play at are, and what to you all do when you are on the road,? Lots of luck to you!
Bob Wren: I really enjoyed going to Newfoundland. But I haven't been there in two years. I like the city alot. It is very unique. The AHL schedule has not allowed our team to play there in the last little while.
Amanda Legge and Christine Silva: Hey, Bobby we were just wondering if you ever get home sick? (did you get our message we sent earlier?)
Bob Wren: Yes, I still do, being 25. I miss my family and friends alot. I haven't been home for Christmas or Thanksgiving in the last six years.
Kip Lawson: Everyone knows the Cincinnati Gardens is a great place to watch a game. What is it like to play their?
Bob Wren: I really enjoy it. It reminds me alot of the Maple Leaf Gardens. From what I know, it was the same architect that built both of them.
ducks for life: What kind of music do you like to listen to?
Bob Wren: I listen to every kind of music except country. I can't stand country. It's a big thing down here.
ducks for life: I am a big mighty ducks fan!!! Who is the best and worst teams to play against?
Bob Wren: I think that the best teams are Kentucky and Louisville because we play both of them a total of 28 games this season. The worst team to play is in Philadelphia because we haven't won there in the last three years.
Roy Hamel: Congratulations Bob on being Sher-Wood AHL Player of the Week. The mix of Anaheim and Detroit players seems to be working well on the ice. How has it been working off the ice with two different organizations in the dressing room?
Bob Wren: It's not tough for the players. It is more tough for the management for both teams. It is tougher for the coaches also because of their decision on who is going to play that night.
:
Bob Wren: I want to say thanks to everyone who wrote in and to my folks back home. And I hope they keep cheering for me.
